Minergy has been recognized for its accomplishments and has received numerous national and state awards. These awards have recognized Minergy for the developments of innovative technologies with significant environmental benefits. A listing of accomplishments is provided below:

  • Business Friend of the Environment Award for Innovative Technologies — Awarded by the Wisconsin Environmental Working Group for Minergy’s Fox Valley Glass Aggregate Plant.
  • Honor Roll of Clean Energy — Awarded by RENEW, a leading environmental group, for Minergy’s Fox Valley Glass Aggregate Plant for Building a New Clean Energy source in Wisconsin.
  • Plant of the Year Award — Awarded by Power Magazine for Minergy’s Fox Valley Glass Aggregate Plant for Putting High-Volume Waste Streams to Beneficial Use in Generating Energy and Recyclable Materials.
  • Governor’s New Product Award–Spirit of Ecology — Awarded by the Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers for the Minergy LWA process used at the Oak Creek LWA Plant.
  • Waste Reduction and Recycling Demonstration Grant — Awarded by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for Minergy’s Fox Valley Glass Aggregate Plant.
  • Wisconsin Recycling Market Development Board — Awarded by the Wisconsin Recycling Market Development Board for Minergy’s Fox Valley Glass Aggregate Plant for the Use of Recoverable Materials in Making Products.
  • Governor’s Waste Reduction and Recycling Award — Awarded by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources as a Market Development Star for the Oak Creek LWA plant.
  • Excellence in Environmental Engineering — Awarded by the American Academy of Environmental Engineering for the Minergy LWA process used at the Oak Creek LWA plant, IV Demonstrated Technology.
